Kal. .44(BlackPowder), Nr. 1358, nummerngleich, Fertigung 1848. 7½"-Lauf, Seele etwas matt mit gutem Zug-/Feldprofil, auf dem Laufansatz etwas undeutliche, einzeilige New York-Firmierung. Sechsschüssige Trommel mit schön erhaltener Reiterschlachtszene, darunter bezeichnet "W.L. Ormsby Sc NY", Nummer, dazu in Kartuschen "U.S.M.R." (United States Mounted Riflemen) sowie "Colt's Patent". Links am Rahmen gestempelt "Colt's Patent U.S.". Abzugsbügel und Griffrahmen aus versilbertem Messing, Griff aus Nussbaumholz. Trommel und Lauf mit schöner, stellenweise beriebener und fleckiger Brünierung, Ladepresse, Hahn und Rahmen buntgehärtet, Versilberung ebenfalls etwas berieben. Länge 36 cm.
In späterem, mit braunem Samt ausgeschlagenem Kasten, darin Kugelzange, Pulverflasche und Pistonschlüssel. Dazu ein schwarz gelacktes Holster mit Klappe an einem einfachen Ledergurt mit Messingschnalle.

Cal. .44(BlackPowder), SN. 1358, Matching numbers, made in 1848. 7½" barrel, slightly matt bore with strong rifling, the barrel with somewhat illegible one-line New York company address. Six-round cylinder with well-preserved cavalry battle scene surmounting the inscription "W.L. Ormsby Sc NY", number, "U.S.M.R." (United States Mounted Riflemen) and "Colt's Patent" within cartouches. Trigger guard and grip frame of silvered brass, walnut grips. Cylinder and barrel with fine, partially rubbed and spotted bluing, reloading press, hammer, and frame case hardened, silver-plating also somewhat rubbed. Length 36 cm.
In later velvet-lined case also housing a bullet mould, powder flask, and nipple wrench. Black patent leather flap holster and plain leather belt with brass buckle.

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
