Kal. .38ACP, Nr. 2404, fast blanker Lauf, Länge 6". Siebenschüssig. Fertigung 1902. Bescheinigung über Nichtbeschuss. Halbmondkorn. Kippkimme. Spannrillen vorne. Links am Verschluss zweizeilig Firmierung und Patent von 1897 sowie rampant colt. Rechts zweizeilig "Automatic Colt / Calibre 38 Rimless Smokeless". Originale Brünierung, geringe Tragespuren an den Kanten, wenige feine Lagerspuren, gering fleckig und leicht patiniert am Griff. Hahn buntgehärtet. Abzug gebläut. Glatte Nussholzgriffschalen, leichte Gebrauchsspuren. Korrektes vernickeltes Magazin mit sechs Sichtlöchern, am Boden gemarkt "Pat'd Sept.9.1884". Gesamtfertigung bis 1903 nur 3.500 Stück.

Cal. .38ACP, SN. 2404, barrel length 6", almost bright bore. Seven shots. Made in 1902. No modern proof marks. Blade front sight. Foldable rear sight. Front serrations. Two-line company and "BROWNING'S PATENT" markings (1897) on the left side ahead of the circled Rampant Colt, and caliber markings "Automatic Colt / Calibre 38 Rimless Smokeless" on the right. Original finish with minor wear on the edges, some traces of storage, a bit mottled and some patina on the grip straps. The hammer casehardened, nitre blue trigger, smooth hardwood grips (a few dings), and a correct nickel plated magazine with six windows and marked "PAT'D. SEPT 9. 1884" on the base plate. Total production until 1903 only 3500 units.
