Henri Cartier-Bresson. Chanteloup-en-Brie in 1908 - Montjustin 2004
French photographer, probably one of the most famous representatives of his art. C.-B. studied ab in 1927, initially painting with A. Lhote, but in 1930 the photography; p. the beach in New York was one of his teachers. In 1947, he was one of the founders of the photo Agency Magnum. As the first photographer ever exhibited at the Louvre; he was also represented at the 1977 Documenta. In his photographs, always in black-and-white, convinced that C.-B.'s perfect composition & the ability to set the decisive moment of what is happening in the picture.
