Second edition of this important history of Milan, which appeared for the first time in 1503 (see previous lot).
4to (208 x 152mm). Frontespizio con marca tipografica raffigurante Minerva che cavalca un leone entro cornice figurata, marca tipografica in fine con un ragno al centro della tela, vignetta xilografica a piena pagina nel testo a 5.6, iniziali xilografiche istoriate, ultima bianca (occasionali fioriture, poche carte con piccolo restauro all'angolo inferiore, leggero alone di umidità al margine esterno). Pergamena del XVIII secolo, titolo su etichetta al dorso, tagli a spruzzo (sguardie e cuciture moderne); preservato entro cofanetto moderno in carta decorata e con ritratto in facsimile moderno inserito all'inizio dell'opera.
Title with printer's device within frame depicting Minerva riding a lion, printer's device at the end with a spider, full-page woodcut vignette in the text at 5.6, woodcut historiated initials, with final blank (occasional spotting, few leaves with small restoration in the lower corner, light dampstaining in outer margin). 18th-century vellum, title on spine label, speckled edges (modern endpapers and stitching); preserved in a modern box in decorated paper and with a modern facsimile portrait inserted at the beginning of the work. Provenance: Aegigy? Giannini (early ownership note on title page) - inscription on final leaf with printer's device, remains of a red wax stamp on second leaf - Mostra del libro antico (fair ticket).

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
