Ingenieur 115. - Die in verschiedene Reihen herausgegeben Kupfer v. Cuvilliès d.Ä. wurden nach dessen Tod 1768 von seinem Sohn neu verlegt u. ergänzt sowie durch fremde Zutaten erweitert. Dadurch erklärt sich auch der wechselnde Umfang der ohnehin selten vorkommenden Sammlungen. "Fast der ganze Kreis der in München ansässigen Künstler wurde zu diesem Unternehmen, das sowohl architektonische wie auch bildmäßige Blätter enthält, herangezogen. Unter dem Titel: Ecôle de l'Architecture Bavaroise (1770 folgende) sollte es ein umfassender 'Vitruve Bavarois' mit Musterbeispielen der einzelnen Stilarten werden" (NDB). - Die Kupfer zeigen architektonische Pläne und Bauteile (darunter auch Münchener Baudenkmäler), perspektivische Architekturbilder, Säulenordnungen, Brücken, Brunnen, Denkmäler, Gartenanlagen, Fenster, Öfen unter anderem - Wenige Taf. gering fl. oder schwach gebräunt, Taf. v. alter Hand durchnum. Meist schöne u. klare Abzüge auf starkem Papier. - Unusually rich collection of ornament and architecture engravings that Cuvilliès made as Munich court architect. A significant rococo document, very hard to find in complete condition. With 205 coppers after F. de Cuvilliès the Elder. Contemporary calf binding (scraped and bumped, joints brittle). Few plates with minor staining or slight discoloration, plates numbered in former times. Mostly fine and clear impressions on strong paper.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
