DANIEL DELANDER, LONDON, CIRCA 1715A GEORGE I STRIKING TABLE CLOCKCASE: The inverted bell-top case with loop handle, the glazed arched door with pierced sound frets to the upper angles, brass mouldings, conforming sides and rear, raised on pad feetDIAL: the arched dial plate engraved with foliage and birds, the silvered chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic five minutes, fleur-de-lis half-hour markers and diamond half quarter-hour markers, pierced blued steel hands, with date indication dial above and flanked by 'strike / silent' and regulation dials, the matted centre with mock pendulum aperture and silver palm signature plaque engraved 'Delander / London', with foliate and scroll silver spandrelsMOVEMENT: the eight day twin-train chain fusee movement within plates joined by six latched knopped pillars, with verge escapement and quarter repeat on six bells, the backplate profusely engraved with birds, foliage and strapwork, signed in an oval reserve 'Dan.
