Grossformatiger russischer Kupferstich der Klauberwerkstatt zu St. Petersburg, 1814, nach der Zeichnung von Giuseppe Pietro Bagetti (1764-1831)

Dargestellt ist ein im Freien aufgebauter Altar, umgeben von russischen Priestern, welche am 10. April 1814 anläßlich des orthodoxen Osterfestes (nach dem julianischen Kalender) einen feierlichen Dankgottesdienst in Anwesenheit der Sieger abhielten. Links reitet Kaiser Alexander I., gefolgt von den verschiedenen europäischen Herrschern und Generälen, zum Altar. Links unten ist der Text in russisch, rechts in französisch angegeben. Der Augsburger Kupferstecher Ignaz Sebastian Klauber (1735-1817), ein Mitglied der berühmten Augsburger Kupferstichateliers der Familie Klauber, erhielt den ehrenvollen Ruf nach St. Petersburg. Hier unterrichtete er an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste Chalkeographie (=Kupferstechkunst) und richtete eine Dependance der Klauberschen Offizin in der Residenzstadt der Zaren ein. Es entstanden großformatige Darstellungen geschichtlicher Ereignisse. Zustand: Am Passepartout rückseitig verklebt, stockfleckig, leicht gebräunt, kleinere Risse rückseitig verklebt, Einrisse unten.

First of all, you should register to be able to purchase at auction. Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
