A. Danz (1654-1727) war seit 1685 Professor für orientalische Sprachen in Jena und seit 1710 Professor für Theologie. - "Er suchte in die Behandlung der hebräischen Grammatik eine schulgerechte Systematik hineinzubringen ... Unter seinen grammatischen Schriften sind zu nennen: "Nucifrangibulum", 1686, "Medakdek, litterator ebraeo-chaldaeus etc.", 1696, die Syntax unter dem Titel: "Thurgeman s. interpres ebraeo-chaldaeus etc.", 1696 ... Eigenthümlich ist seine überaus künstliche, aber dem Geiste der Sprache fremde Lehre über den Vocalismus im Hebräischen (vgl. hierüber besonders Vater, Hebr. Sprachlehre, 1797. Vorrede S. 12 ff.). Er war auch Kenner anderer Dialekte, namentlich der rabbinischen, wie sein "Rabbinismus enucleatus" bezeugt. - Das Syrische behandelte er in seinem "Aditus Syriae reclusus etc.", 1689, öfter wieder aufgelegt" (Siegfried in ADB). - Freie Vorsatzblätter erneuert, zeitgenöss. Besitzvermerk a. V. u. T., Titelblatt teils stärker angestaubt und etwas fleckig, durchgehend etwas fleckig, wenige Blatt mit Randläsuren (ohne Textverlust).

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
