Dieses hochkomplexe Mandala zeigt den Yidam Samvara mit seiner Partnerin Vajravarahi, in seiner Form als Dvadashsatmaka Dakarnavacakra. Dieses Mandala entstammt dem Anuttara Tantra. Samvaras Körperfarbe ist ikonographisch zur Hälfte blau, zur Hälfte grün (hier nur in Blau dargestellt). Samvara hat 17 Gesichter, 76 Arme, 2 Beine. Seine Weisheits-Partnerin Vajravarahi, von roter ikonographischer Körperfarbe, hat ein Gesicht und zwei Arme. Das Gottheitenpaar steht auf dem Gipfel des Weltbergs, mit einem 48 blättrigen Lotos als Basis, und über den Scheiben von Sonne und Mond. Beide Gottheiten stehen über den von ihnen bezwungenen Hindergeistern - Kalaratri und Bhairava. Die Summe der Mandala-Gottheiten beträgt 389. Der Gesamtkomplex dieses dreidimensional vorzustellenden Mandalasystems, das von Außen nach Innen, bzw von unten nach oben zu begehen ist, besteht aus drei übereinandergeschichteten Mandalas, mit ihren zahlreichen Gottheiten. Jedes Mandala wird durch einen schwarzfarbigen Kreis umfangen mit den jeweiligen Darstellungen der acht Leichenfelder. Außer dem zentralen Paar sind alle Gottheiten aller drei Mandalas nur durch ikonographische Farbsymbole dargestellt. Die Basis der drei, zu einem Weltberg übereinandergeschichteten Mandalas mit dem Götterpaar auf seinem Gipfel, wird umfangen von drei Ringen (Cakras): dem Cakra des Geistes, dem Cakra der Sprache und dem Cakra des Körpers. All dies spielt sich innerhalb der Mauern eines quadratischen Mandalapalastes ab, mit den vier vajrabekrönten Toren. Den Palast umgibt ein paradiesähnlicher Park, in dem paarweise Buddhas in den Mandalafarben erscheinen, und der mit Wunschbäumen und Siegessymbolen bestellt ist. Diesen heiligen Bezirk umfassen vier konzentrisch angelegte Einfriedungen. Die erste Einfriedung wird durch aneinandergereihte Lotosblätter gebildet. Dann folgen die acht großen Friedhöfe, mit Meditierenden und Friedhofsszenarien, Danach folgt ein den gesamten Mandalaberg überwölbendes Vajrazelt, zum Schutz vor eindringenden negativen Energien. Abschließend umfängt ein gewaltiges Feuerrad, in alternierenden Farben, und in den vier Himmelsrichtungen besetzt mit vier weißen Ehrenschirmen, den gesamten Komplex. Bei diesem Mandala handelt es sich um ein Meisterwerk mongolischer Malkunst und Präzision der Miniaturmalerei wie sie besonders in der Tradition der mongolischen Kultur vorzufinden ist. Tempera und Gold auf Baumwollgewebe; originale Einfassung aus chinesischem Seidenbrokat mit Drachenmmuster; Rückseite mit Baumwollstoff abgedeckt.
