Rückkehr der Fischer nach dem Unwetter
Geschildert wird eine stimmungsvolle Küstenszene vor einer Befestigungsanlage mit Fischern und Fischhändlern. Während rechts drei Fischer noch die letzten Netze einholen, wird links bereits über den Verkauf des Fangs verhandelt. Nach einem Unwetter haben sich nun die ersten Sonnenstrahlen durch die spärlich aufgebrochene Wolkendecke gekämpft und einen Regenbogen geschaffen, während das Meer noch recht bewegt scheint. Atmosphärisch gestimmte, in tonigem Kolorit und ausgewogener Komposition geschaffene Genredarstellung, die wesentliche Elemente der Komposition, Motivik und Personenstaffage aus Werken David II Teniers rezipiert. Im RKD in Den Haag ist unter der Nr. 224702 ein Gemälde Teniers aus den 1640er Jahren dokumentiert, dessen Figurenkomposition der Netze einholenden Fischer aber auch die erhöhte Befestigungsanlage und der Regenbogen zitiert werden, hier allerdings seitenverkehrt. Der bildbestimmende Fischer mit Pelzkappe und großem Fisch im linken Vordergrund basiert auf einer Figur in einem im Dezember 2024 bei Christie's (Lot 164) versteigertem Werk Teniers. Öl/Lwd., doubliert. 40 cm x 31,5 cm. Rahmen.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
