Kücheninterieur mit einem jungen Mann und drei trinkenden und rauchenden Figuren im Hintergrund
Im Vordergrund ein pittoreskes Stillleben-Ensemble mit Miesmuscheln, erlegten Wildvögeln, einer Schüssel mit Äpfeln, allerlei Küchengeräten, einem Fass, einem schräg daran gelehnten Stuhl und an der Lehne drapierter, leuchtend roter Mütze; auf der rechten Bildseite trägt ein Jüngling einen chinesischen, blauen Kraak-Teller davon, während sich im Hintergrund zwei Bauern und eine Frau am Kaminfeuer vergnügen. Die Darstellung basiert auf einem 2018 bei Christie's in New York versteigerten, in den späten 1640er Jahren entstandenen Gemälde von Teniers, das sich Anfang des 19. Jhs. im Besitz der Kaiserin Josephine von Frankreich befand (Auktion "Old Masters Part I", 19.04.2018, Lot-Nr. 40). Wie bei anderen Kücheninterieurs dieser Zeit spielt Teniers auch hier auf alle vier Elemente an: Muschelschalen aus dem Meer unten links, Vögel aus der Luft, Äpfel aus der Erde und das lodernde Feuer im Kamin. Die Stillleben-Elemente, die rote Kappe und der Porzellanteller, boten Teniers die Möglichkeit lebhafte Passagen mit Lokalkolorit zu verbinden. Öl/Lwd., alt auf Karton kaschiert. 34 cm x 43 cm. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
