An elegant copy of the first French collective edition that brings together the reports of the travels to the East of the Dutch painter and traveler Cornelis de Bruyn. The first Dutch editions of these two trips appeared one in 1698 and the other in 1711 respectively and the first French one in 1700 and the other in 1718.

Engraved frontispiece portrait of the author by Scotin, title printed in red and black with printer's device, 5 folded maps and 85 engraved plates of which 10 folding, all designed by the author and then engraved, woodcut initials (some slight spotting, occasional browning and staining).
