Porcelain, coloured equipped. On an oval, with flowers and leaves occupied Socket of deer and äsende DOE. The deer turned to the left, looking to the views of the DOE to the right. The fur of the animals naturalistically. Height 18 cm and 10.5 cm.
Without recognizable brands. Condition C. Antlers restored and modified.

In his work report Kaendler mentioned in August, 1747, the Model of three deer. (Cf.: Ed.: Edition Leipzig, the work reports of Meissen porcelain modeller Johann Joachim Kaendler, 1706 - 1775, Leipzig, 2002, p. 120).

Figures of wild animals enjoyed as a table decoration during the hunting societies of great popularity and were many produced in Meissen.
