Matwei Iwanowitsch Platow (1753 - 1818) war General der russischen Armee und Ataman der Donkosaken. Fürs seine militärischen Verdienste wurde er 1801 von Zar Alexander I. zum Generalleutnant ernannt. In den Napoleonischen Kriegen kämpfte Platow zunächst von 1805 bis 1807 gegen die Franzosen. Danach nahm er am Feldzug gegen die Türken teil. 1812 befehligte er nach der Zerstörung Moskaus 15 Donkosakenregimenter, 2 Jägerregimenter und 2 reitende Batterien, die als Vor- und Nachhut der russischen Armee fungierten. Mit seinen Kosaken verfolgte er den abziehenden Feind. Größte Popularität in Europa erlangte Platow während der Befreiungskriege 1813-1814. Einige preußische Städte verdanken ihm ihre Befreiung, bei Altenburg schlug er am 28. September 1813 General Lefèbvre-Desnouttes, nach der Völkerschlacht bei Leipzig verfolgte er den Feind bis an den Rhein. In Frankreich selbst rückte er mit den Alliierten in Paris ein, nachdem er bei Laon gesiegt, Nemours erobert und Arcis und Versailles besetzt hatte.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
