Schmerzensmann mit ausgebreiteten Händen
Elfenbein, geschnitzt. Kleines, fein und detailreich ausführtes Relief nach dem um 1500 entstandenen Kupferstich Albrecht Dürers (Wvz. Meder 20), das annähernd dem Format der grafischen Vorlage entspricht und rechts unten auch das Dürer- Monogramm "AD" wiedergibt. Dargestellt ist Christus als stehender Schmerzensmann mit Dornenkrone vor dem Kreuzstamm und den Marterwerkzeugen zu seinen Füßen; der Schädel mit den Knochen weist auf Golgatha hin, die kleinen Würfel darauf, dass nach der Kreuzigung um die Kleider Christi gelost wurde. Die Relieftafel entstand, wie auch viele Druckgrafiken der Dürer-Renaissance, im 17. Jh.; Ca. 11,5 x 7 cm.
