König Friedrich Wilhelm I. und Generalfeldmarschall Leopold I. von Anhalt-Dessau (genannt "Der Alte Dessauer") im Großen Nordischen Krieg vor Stralsund
Repräsentatives, großformatiges Historiengemälde. In feinflüssiger Malweise geschildert wird eine vielfigurige Szene während des Pommernfeldzuges 1715/16, in dem ein alliiertes Heer, bestehend aus Preußen, Dänen und Sachsen, gegen Schweden kämpfte und hierbei durch preußische Truppen Stralsund und Rügen erobert wurden. Auf der rechten Gemäldeseite ist der seit 1713 regierende "Soldatenkönig" Friedrich Wilhelm I. von Preußen (1688 - 1740) zu sehen, neben ihm der legendäre preußische Feldmarschall Fürst Leopold I. von Anhalt-Dessau (1676 - 1747), die zusammen erfolgreich die preußischen Truppen kommandierten. Die linke Bildseite wird hingegen von der historisch bedeutenden Belagerungs- bzw. Schlachtenszene dominiert. Der König selbst ist in typischer Pose und Uniform in der Tradition von Antoine Pesne als Befehlshaber dargestellt, über dem Kürass ein gelbes Justeaucorps und blauer Rock mit roten Aufschlägen, auf der linken Brust der Stern des Schwarzen Adlerorden, in der rechten Hand der Marschallstab. Der Schöpfer des vorliegenden, in der überzeugenden Charakterisierung der beiden Hauptfiguren künstlerisch herausragenden Gemäldes, dürfte im Umkreis von Adolph von Menzel und Anton von Werner zu suchen sein. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
