Öl auf Leinwand, links unten signiert "G. Steinert 1917" und auf der Rückseite "Es kommt ein Tag". In der Morgendämmerung auftauchendes deutsches U-Boot vor Großstadt-Silhouette. In passendem, später ergänztem schwarzen Profilrahmen. Bildmaße 48 x 78 cm, Rahmenmaße 55 x 85 cm. Dazu unter Glas gerahmt zwei kleinformatige Flachdrucke nach Marinebildern von Claus Bergen, Rahmenmaße 22 x 31 cm. Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren.

Kammerstück aus marineblauem Wollstoff mit festem Deckel und entsprechendem in Goldgelb gewebten Mützenband, Kokarde fehlt, sowie schwarzem Futter mit unleserlicher Kammerstempelung und einem beschädigten Schweißleder aus Pappe. Größe ca. 56. Dazu eine Kindermütze "Helgoland".
