Bildnis eines Herrn mit einer Schriftrolle als Halbfigur in Dreiviertelansicht nach rechts, seine Linke ruht auf einer Balustrade. Öl/Leinwand./Leinwand., oben links das Wappen der Familie von Seubert.
Bei dem Dargestellten handelt es sich mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit um Johann Martin von Seubert (1626-1695). Seit 1654 war Johann Martin von Seubert für den Herzog von Württemberg-Mömpelgard Agent am französischen Hof und vertrat andere Reichsstände in Paris. Dort war er auch Rat und Fremdsprachensekretär des Grand Condé, des Herzog Ludwig II. von Bourbon. Am 5. Oktober 1666 erhob Kaiser Leopold I. Johann Martin von Seubert in den erblichen Adelsstand. Bereits 1659 war ihm durch Herzog Leopold Friedrich von Württemberg-Mömpelgard das Lehen Schloss Beutal in der Herrschaft Châtelot verliehen worden. Das Lehen wurde durch seinen Nachfolger Herzog Georg von Württemberg-Mömpelgard am 13. Dezember 1671 bestätigt und es erfolgte die zusätzliche Belehnung mit dem nahegelegenen Dorf Bretigney. Seinen Grundbesitz vergrößerte Johann Martin von Seubert mehrfach durch Ankäufe und erwarb zudem noch das kleine Gut Echelotte. Restauriert.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
