Custom-made from heavy grey doeskin wool with a dark green collar, red breast flap lining, and pebbled gold buttons. The silk lining features a tailor's label from Miltenberger, Dresden, on the back and inside pocket, bearing the wearer's name dated 1944. It also includes a portrait photo as a colonel with his own signature.
Emil Karl Hans Mauss (1898-1959), war volunteer in 1914, lieutenant in 1915, reactivated as captain in 1934, lieutenant colonel in 1941, Knight's Cross on November 26, 1941, colonel in 1942, commander of the 7th Panzer Division in 1944. Generalmajor on April 1, 1944, and Generalleutnant on October 1, 1944, and diamonds on April 15, 1945.

Das Seidenfutter mit Schneideretiketten von Miltenberger, Dresden, im Rücken und in der Innentasche, auf diesen der Trägername mit Datierung von 1944. Dazu ein Portraitphoto als Oberst mit eigenhändiger Unterschrift.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
