Porcelain, coloured and gold equipped. Three on a rock base clustered cherubs in Arithmetic, with writing utensils, book and
Scroll. A hard pensive Putto holds to the head, the other takes
the Finger as a calculation aid. Height 21cm.

The design for this group is one of the models of the so-called 'Russian order'. The total of 40 small sculptures were added in 1772 Empress Catherine II in the case of Kaendler in order that supplied all the drawings, it is throw-ins.
