A contours et bordure de godrons tors, gravées sur le marli d'un crêt et des armoiries royales flanquées des initiales W et R, chacune avec traces de poids au revers, poinçons: titre, ville, lettre-date et maître-orfèvre

D.: 24,5 cm. (9 5⁄8 in.)

Les initiales 'W R' et le crêt royal sont ceux du roi William IV (r.1830-1837), roi de Grande-Bretagne et d'Irelande.

Le deuxième crêt est celui des Hamilton pour les comtes d'Haddington, probablement pour Thomas Hamilton, 9th Earl of Haddington (1780-1858), propriétaire terrien et politicien. Il a probablement reçu ces assiettes dans le cadre de sa nomination au poste de Lord Lieutenant of Ireland par Sir Robert Peel en 1834.
