Die Schiene mit integrierter Standkimme mit zwei zusätzlichen Klappen für 200 und 250 yards. Laufbündel gemarkt mit "Holland & Holland, 98. New Bond Street, London" und "Winners of all the 'Field' Rifle Trials - London 1883". Nachbrünierung des Laufbündels, stellenweise berieben. Basküle und Seitenschlösser buntgehärtet. Feine Randgravuren sowohl an den Schlössern als auch an Basküle, Hähnen und Laufwurzel. Doppelabzug. Dunkle Holzschäftung mit gradlinigem Verlauf, deutscher Backe und etwas poröser Schaftkappe. An der Innenseite des Vorderschaftes kleiner Riss. Auf Unterseite des Hinterschaftes ein Monogrammplättchen mit Initialen des Vorbesitzers. Moderate Gebrauchsspuren. Hinterschaftlänge 37 cm. Gesamtlänge 109 cm.
Im originalen Holzkoffer mit braunem Lederbezug. Die Seiten des Deckels sind vakant, ebenso der Koffergriff und das rechte Kofferband. Leder stellenweise beschädigt. Innen mit dunkelblauem Samt ausgelegt. Im Deckel großes Firmenetikett von Holland & Holland, mit italienischem Wappen, dieses umschrieben mit "Winners of all the Prizes in the / 'Field' Rifle Trials, London 1883", unter dem Wappen "By special appointment to His Majesty the King of Italy". Rechts im Deckel zudem ein Lade- und Datenblatt zum Kaliber. Im Seitenfach Putzzeug und zwei Werkzeuge sowie zwei Ersatz-Schlagbolzen und ein dicker zweiteiliger Messingputzstock. Schlüssel fehlt. Außerdem div. Originalrechnungen, aufbewahrt in Klarsichtfolie, eine davon in der Mitte zerrissen.

Rear sight with two additional leaves for 100, 200 and 250 yards integrated into the barrel rib. Barrel bundle marked "Holland & Holland, 98. New Bond Street, London" and "Winners of all the 'Field' Rifle Trials - London 1883". The barrels and triggers with original finish, partially rubbed. Case-hardened receiver and side locks. Fine engravings around the edges, locks, receiver, hammers and barrel shank. Double trigger. Dark wood stock with straight line, German cheek piece and slightly porous butt plate. Small crack on the inside of the fore-end. The underside of the butt stock with a monogram plaque bearing the initials of the previous owner. Moderate signs of use. Length of butt stock 37 cm. Total length 109 cm.
In original wood case with brown leather cover. The sides of the lid, handle and right strap missing. Leather partially damaged. Dark blue velvet lining. Large Holland & Holland label on the inside of the lid, with Italian coat of arms surrounded by the inscription "By special appointment to His Majesty the King of Italy". Loading and data sheet for the calibre on the right side of the lid. The side compartment with cleaning equipment, two tools, one spare firing pin and one thick two-piece brass cleaning rod. Key missing. Various original receipts, kept in a clear sheet protector, one of them torn in the middle.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
