Fragment einer sakralen Darstellung mit Buddha im Zentrum. Rötliches Gestein mit hellen Einsprengseln. Links, rechts und unten gebrochen. Länge 17,5 cm. Höhe 11 cm. Halbrelief-Unterleib einer weiblichen Gottheit mit faltenreich gestaltetem Beinkleid. Höhe15,5 cm. Leicht gedrehtes Sandstein-Köpfchen von einer Relieffigur. Bestoßen und mit Witterungsspuren. Höhe 7,5 cm.

Provenienz: Aus dem Nachlass einer westdeutschen Privatsammlung. Erworben vor 1968.

Three ancient Indian relief fragments
Fragment of a sacred scene with Buddha in the centre. Reddish stone with light-coloured flecks. Broken on the left, right and below. Length 17.5 cm. Height 11 cm. Half-relief lower body of a female deity with a richly folded leg dress. Height 15.5 cm. Slightly twisted sandstone head of a relief figure. Bumped and with traces of weathering. Height 7.5 cm.

Provenance: From the estate of a West German private collection. Acquired before 1968.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
