Estimate value
€ 2 000 – 3 000
Lettre autographe signée à Margaret Barr, datée "Paris, [...] 21 déc. [19]36"
1 p. in-4 (253 x 210 mm), encre brune.
Marcel Duchamp mentions Man Ray and writes about his current exhibitions: the 1936 MoMA exhibition Fantastic Art, Dada and Surrealism and his upcoming first solo exhibition at Chicago's Arts Club in 1937. The recipient of the letter is the art historian Margaret Barr, wife of Alfred Barr, who was the first director of the MoMA.
