'An der Fähre', auf dem Rahmen Fragment eines Ausstellungsetiketts, möglicherweise Königsberg oder Berlin. - Deutscher Landschaftsmaler. A. studierte 1893-1905 an der Akademie Königsberg. 1888 war er zum ersten Mal auf der kurischen Nehrung und gehörte später zum beständigen Kreis der Künstlerkolonie Nidden. 1897-1920 war er Kustos der Kupferstichsammlung der Universität Königsberg. Ferner war er dort bis 1927 Leiter der städtischen Kunstsammlungen, Leiter des stadtgeschichtlichen Museums sowie Lehrer an der Kunst- und Gewerbeschule. A. unternahm ausgedehnte Studienreisen, dennoch dominieren Motive aus Ostpreußen sein Oeuvre. Mus.: Berlin (Nat.-Gal.), Schwerin. Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
