Stadthalle Wolfsburg 1966, Kat.-Nr. 12 - Provenienz: Slg. Bernhard Zimmermann (mit dem Künstler befreundet) dann durch Erbgang - Deutscher Maler u. Graphiker, nach kurzer Zeit als Seemann begann er, gefördert von F. Böhle, in Frankfurt/M. mit der künstlerischen Ausbildung, studierte mit Unterbrechung 1910-20 an der Akademie Königsberg bei L. Dettmann, dessen Mitarbeiter er auch wurde. 1927 kam er in Kontakt zu M. Liebermann, auf zahlreiche öffentliche Aufträge für Fresken folgte 1936 ein Lehrauftrag an der Akademie Königsberg, nach dem Krieg ließ er sich zunächst bei Uelzen, dann in Gelsenkirchen u. Soest nieder, die Verleihung des Bundesverdienstkreuzes 1970 würdigte sein Lebenswerk. Mus.: Lüneburg, Gelsenkirchen, Regensburg u.a. Lit.: Saur, Thieme-Becker, Vollmer, Bénézit.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
