The inkstone is in form of an eggplant, the vines and leaves at the top intersect with the fruit and form the inkwell, with hardwood box and cover. With traces of use, partially damaged. Part. besch., mit Gebrauchsspuren. Provenance: Purchased by the collector at auction house Lempertz in cologne in 2002.
