AN ENGRAVED SHORT SWORD Central Asia, 19th century or later Metal/amber. L. 61 cm. The handle, the crossguard and the pommel are all made of metal, inlaid with amber and engraved on the surface. The blade is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, with two grooves on the blade edge on both sides. The scabbard is made of metal, and engraved with flowers as well as vines. With traces of use.

Die Parierstange und der Knauf sind auf der Oberflaeche graviert. Die Klinge ist oben breit und unten schmal, mit zwei Rillen an der Klingenkante auf beiden Seiten. Die Scheide ist aus Metall und mit Blumen sowie Ranken graviert. Mit Gebrauchsspuren.
