A LACQUER TWO-TIER STACKING BOX (JUBAKO) AND A TRAY (HIROBUTA) Japan, 20th century Lacquerware. Jubako 19.5x19.5x13.2 cm, Hirobuta 24.4x42.2x2.5 cm. Including a black two-tier stacking box with cover and a black tray, both are decorated with pine needles in gold chinkin. These two were probably produced in the Kishu area in Kainan City based on a label on the bottom. With slight traces of use.
