Zwei große Möbelbeschläge mit je einer schreitenden Erosfigur im Dreiviertelrelief, der Kopf ist jeweils zurückgewandt, mit einer nach unten gerichteten Fackel hinter dem Rücken. Die Platte gerahmt durch einfache Punzverzierung. Oben und unten in Durchbruchstechnik stilisierte florale Verzierung. Rückseitig ein großer Befestigungsstift. Stellenweise Ausbrüche im Bereich der unteren und oberen Verzierung, sonst intakt und mit schöner Patina. Höhe 16,8 cm und 15 cm.

A pair of Roman appliqués, 2nd - 3rd century
Two large furniture fittings, each with a striding Eros figure in relief. The head of the figure is turned back, with a downward pointing torch behind the back. The plate framed by simple hallmark decoration. Above and below stylised floral decoration in openwork technique. A large mounting pin on the reverse. Chipping in places in the area of the lower and upper decoration, otherwise intact and with a beautiful patina. Height 16.8 cm and 15 cm.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
