An Ostrogothic silver eagle-head strap distributor, mid 5th century

Large strap distributor with a central plate, from which four eagle-head fittings lead off. The round plate and the square decorative fields of the eagles' head fittings are notch decorated and gilded. A decorative stone in the centre. Intact. Length 25 cm. Weight 332 g. An exceptional piece of Eastern Gothic horse equipment!

Silberner Adlerkopf-Riemenverteiler, ostgotisch, Mitte 5. Jhdt.
Großer Riemenverteiler mit einer zentralen Platte, von der aus vier Adlerkopf-Beschläge abgehen. Die runde Platte und die quadratischen Zierfelder der Adlerkopf-Beschläge mit Kerbschnitt verziert und vergoldet. Mittig jeweils ein Zierstein. Intakt. Länge 25 cm. Gewicht 332 g. Außergewöhnlicher Bestandteil ostgotischer Pferdeausrüstung.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
