Brünierte, oktagonale, in rund übergehende glatte Läufe mit kanonierten Mündungen im Kaliber 13,5 mm, über den Kammern bezeichnet "C", "T" und Jahreszahl "1589". Radschlösser, die Rad- und Hahnabdeckungen sowie der Sicherungsschieber jeweils aus fein graviertem Messing, die Schlossplatten brüniert und mit vergoldeten Trophäengravuren. Helle Vollschäfte mit kräftigen Knäufen und vollflächigen gravierten und geschwärzten Beineinlagen mit Darstellungen von Vögeln zwischen Rankenwerk, vor den Knäufen eine gravierte Silbermanschette, die Knäufe jeweils mit ebenfalls silbernen Plaketten mit gravierten Reiterdarstellungen besetzt. Vergoldete Abzugsbügel. Hölzerne Ladestöcke mit Beindoppern. Länge je 56 cm.
A pair of lavishly bone-inlaid wheellock pistols, first-class collector's reproductions in the Saxon style of the late 16th century
Blued, octagonal, smooth barrels turning to round with cannon muzzles, in 13.5 mm calibre, inscribed "C", "T" and the date "1589" at the breeches. The wheellocks, both wheel and cock covers and the safety slide in finely engraved brass. The lock plates blued and decorated with gilt trophy engravings. Light-coloured full stocks with sturdy butt plates, entirely covered in engraved and blackened bone inlays with representations of birds amidst tendrils. An engraved silver ferrule in front of the butt plates, the butt plates each set with silver plaques, engraved with depictions of horsemen. Gilt trigger guards. Wooden ramrods with bone tips. Length of each 56 cm.
