Eight-edged, in some temporary runs with seven drawn-souls in the caliber of 9.5 mm. On the barrel top engraved signature "J. F. Bosler à Darmstadt", engraved run approaches with ribbon and rocaille decor. Finely engraved stone castles with feigned Zündlöchern. On the lock plates presentation of the Diana in a deer-drawn carriages. Fine blended full made of walnut wood business with noses made from dark Horn. The piston, with internal pressure vessels can be unscrewed. Finely engraved brass trimmings. Wooden Ramrods with Horndoppern. Length 49.5 cm. Friedrich Jacob Bosler (1717-93) is master to 1746 and later Hofbüchsenmacher of the landgraves of Hessen-Darmstadt. A very similar, to Landgraf Ludwig VIII. made Pair of wind-guns, located today in the collection of the castle of Kranichstein. To do this, original air pump with attached collection number, as well as Keith Neal-made Adapter for the use of modern compressed air cartridges. Provenance: Pictured in: F.
