A THANGKA OF THE FIELD OF ACCUMULATION OF SHAKYAMUNI
China (Tibet), 19th century Distemper on cloth, framed and under glass. 77.5x55.5 cm (71.5x94.3 cm with frame). The buddha sits at the center with Vajradhara at the heart, surrounded by gurus of the lineage of Maitreya and Manjushri, with deities, buddhas and bodhisattvas as well as protectors below. With traces of age, partially damaged und stained. Provenance: From an old private Collection in Düsseldorf.
