A WOODEN TWO-SECTION TANSU Japan, Meiji period Wood. 106x109.5x43.5 cm. The tansu chest is formed as two parts. The upper part set with two drawers, the lower part with two drawers as well and a hinged door opening to reveal two small drawers, each with iron lock plates engraved with flower motif and lifting handles to the sides, on one side also a Lempertz label. With traces of use, small damages and scratches.
EIN ZWEITEILIGES TANSU AUS HOLZ Japan, Meiji-Zeit Holz. 106x109.5x43.5 cm. Die Tansu-Kommode besteht aus zwei Teilen. Der obere Teil ist mit zwei Schubladen ausgestattet, der untere Teil mit zwei Schubladen und einer Fluegeltuer, die zwei kleine Schubladen zum Vorschein bringt. Jede Schublade ist mit eisernen Schlossplatten ausgestattet, die mit Blumenmotiven graviert sind. An den Seiten bestehen Hebegriffen. An einer Seite steht noch eine alte Etikette von Lempertz. Mit Gebrauchsspuren, kleinen Beschaedigungen und Kratzern.
