A BLUE AND WHITE 'FIGURAL' DEEP BOWL
China, Qing Dynasty Porcelain. H. 9.9 cm, D. 20.8 cm. The bowl is painted with five playing boys in medallion in the center and geometric patterns at the rim. The exterior is decorated with panels relating the ''Romance of the Western Chamber''. On the bottom is a mark ''Daqing Kangxi Nianzhi''. With slight traces of use, partially cracked and chipped.
