A LARGE COPPER ALLOY STATUE OF GREEN TARA China (Tibet) Copper alloy. H. ca. 83 cm. The bodhisattva sits in lalitasana with right foot stepping on lotus flower, wearing a crown and elegant jewelry, the right hand extended in varada mudra, holding stems of lotus flowers in both hands. With traces of oxidation, partially damaged, the inlaid jewelry missing.

Die Tara sitzt in lalitasana, mit rechter Fuss auf Lotusbluete tretend, traegt eine Krone und eleganten Schmuck. Sie haelt Staengel von Lotusblueten in beiden Haenden, waehrend die rechte Hand in varada mudra ausstreckt. Mit Oxidationsspuren, teilweise beschaedigt, die eingelegten Schmucksteine verloren.
