Die Hochgottheit Shiva ist hier halb männlich, halb weiblich, die Unterscheidung ist nur an der Brust (und am Attribut) wahrzunehmen. Man nennt diese androgyne Darstellung Ardhanarishvara, diese Vereinigung von Shiva und Parvati. Sehr gut ausgeführte, mild-weise Gesichtszüge, Schmuck auf Kopf und an Ohren. Der Sambat-Lendenschurz ist dekoriert und trägt typisch khmerische Fischschwanzfalte. Das Attribut des Shiva fehlt, das der Göttin Parvati ist nur teilweise erhalten und dürfte eine Lotusknopse oder -blüte gewesen sein. Sehr gute Patina. Das Sammleretikett auf Sockelrückseite gibt die Periode Ratanakosin (nicht „kokin“) an, die ab 1767 war. Stilistisch hat diese seltene, skulptural sehr gut wirkende Bronze deutlich khmerische Merkmale und dürfte in einem Bereich zu oder in Kambodscha entstanden sein.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
