A BRONZE SEATED STATUE OF AVALOKITESVARA Southeast Asia Bronze. H. 57 cm. Avalokitesvara sits in the lotus position, with the left hand in vitarka mudra, and the right hand in varada mudra. There is a detachable nimbus on the back, all parts of the body are fixed by metal latches, the bottom cover is welded later. With traces of use and scratches on the surface.
