Three segments, each with three to four bronze scales of a Roman scaly skin. The individual, overlapping plates connected by a wire made of Bronze with each other. Each tile has an upper continuous through hole, to be able to sew. Some of the tiles with outbreaks. The length of the shed 2.9 cm. The width of the four-segment 4.3 cm, of the three segments 3.4 and 4 cm. Provenance: From a in the South of Germany retained private collection. Purchased in the 1970s to the 1980s, the art market and German private collections. Condition: II - III
