Emile Louis Picault, "Per Laborem" In The Beginning Of 20. Century, the base signed and inscribed "PER LABOREM", recto on the Base inscription: "GLOIRE ET FORTUNE", verso stamped "VRAI BRONZE GARANTI PARIS, B. L." on the side of the Base engraved with figures for the year 1878 and 1903, Bronze brown patina, depicting this lack of a handsome worker as half Nude in a loin cloth, the raised Hand for the presentation of a Laurel branch (), to ears of corn, his feet of Grain lying on a square plinth, on red marble base, this with bestoßener corner, otherwise in good age appropriate condition, H Bronze approx. 61 cm, H total approx. 65 cm.
