- The series is a reminiscence of the artist's childhood
- The black spots on the parchment paper depict silhouettes of female body parts from various issues of the French magazine 'Vogue'
- Jacir's mother had made the exposed body parts of the women unrecognisable in order to take the magazine with her from France to Saudi Arabia .
