Doll sets were not only produced in Germany, but also in France. The faience factory in Niderviller/Alsace, founded in 1735, also produced porcelain from 1742. The surviving pieces of this once extensive dinner service, which in its forms is still entirely in keeping with the Empire, are rare.
From what was once an extensive coffee service, the coffee pot, the cream jug and a confit bowl have survived. They are decorated with views that can also be found on tableware of this period for adults. The coffee pot and the cream jug show Reinhardsbrunn Castle near Gotha, the bowl shows Wartburg Castle near Eisenach. In addition to the production of household porcelain, manufactories in Thuringia specialised in dolls' dishes, but these pieces are usually not marked.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
