Vollrund beschnitzter und weißlich gefasster Christo morto im Dreinageltypus. Detailliert geschnitzt mit leicht überlagernden Beinen und faltenreichem Lendentuch, welches durch ein gedrehtes Seil gehalten wird. Die Arme weit ausgebreitet, der Oberkörper nach rechts geneigt. Der Kopf ruht auf dem rechten Schulterblatt. Das bärtige Gesicht weist feine erhabene Züge auf. Die Wundmale dezent dargestellt. Höhe 96 cm. Altersspuren. Zeichen von Wurmstich, nicht aktiv. Finger teilweise bestoßen. Fassung partiell übergangen.

A Flemish body of Christ in relief, 17th century

A Christo morto in three-nail type, fully sculptured and painted a whitish hue. Carved in detail, the legs slightly overlapping, Christ wearing a draped loincloth, held together by a twisted rope. The arms outstretched, the upper body turned to the right. The head resting on the right shoulder blade. The bearded face with features in fine relief. The stigmata are discreetly depicted. Height 96 cm. Signs of age. Traces of worming, not active. The fingers knocked in places. The paintwork retouched in places.
