A female torso rendered in a style that reflected the official artistic tastes of the time - Exhibition: A similar specimen at the GDK Munich 1938 - A German sculptor, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich following an apprenticeship as a stone sculptor, where he was a master student of Joseph Wackerle until 1939. Hoffmann worked primarily in the fields of monumental and architectural sculpture and exhibited several times at the Great German Art Exhibition in Munich
