Stahlklinge, Griff, Medaillon und Spitze verziert mit verschiedenen Götter-Darstellungen mit farbigem Email auf seltenem türkisblauen Fond, der Rücken mit schiitischen Rufen und Gebeten in Gold auf blauem Email, die Spitze des Knaufs mit einem Gebet und datiert AH 1189.

Auf Arabisch am hinteren Rand des Griffs: "O Herr, für Muhammad und die Familie von Muhammad, 'Ali, und Fatima, die Tochter von Muhammad, Hasan und Husayn".

Auf Arabisch und Persisch auf der Vorderseite des Griffs: "Für jede Katastrophe, die sich ereignet, rezitiere siebzigmal / Es gibt keinen Helden außer 'Ali, kein Schwert außer Dhul-Fiqar".

Die Verzierung dieses Dolches und der Scheide zeigt eine seltene Kombination aus muslimischen Gebeten und Bildern von Hindu-Gottheiten. Die Inschriften stammen sowohl aus dem Koran als auch aus schiitischen Quellen. Die Figuren indischer Götter und Göttinnen, darunter die mehrarmige Göttin Durga, der unter einer fünfköpfigen Schlange sitzende Vishnu und der Affengott Hanuman, zeigen einen Einfluss der nordindischen Malerei des 18. Jahrhunderts aus Kaschmir und den Pahari-Staaten (Beijing 2018, S. 214). Die türkisfarbene Emaillierung, die für den Grund des Griffs und die Beschläge der Scheide verwendet wurde, ist sehr ungewöhnlich.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
