Spars, verso betitelt und Adresse des Künstlers, auf dem Keilrahmen Ausstellungsetikett des Hauses der Kunst München. - Ausstellungen: Das Gemälde wurde vielfach ausgestellt: Kunsthaus Hamburg 1964; Kunstverein Braunschweig 1962; Overbeck-Gesellschaft Lübeck 1960; Große Kunstausstellung, Haus der Kunst München, 7.6.-15.9.1957, Kat.-Nr. 772; Wiesbaden 1954; Hamburger Kunsthalle 1954. - Literatur: Das Gemälde ist mit Abb. publiziert: E. S. Kunsthaus Hamburg. Rückblick auf Bilder aus den Jahren 1930-79, 1981, Kat.-Nr. 13. - Deutscher Maler, Zeichner und Graphiker. S. nahm 1923 Unterricht bei A. Illies an der Kunstgewerbeschule in Hamburg und arbeitete anschließend freischaffend. Mit einem Stipendium konnte er 1930/31 seine Studien in Paris fortsetzen. Von den Nationalsozialisten schikaniert arbeitete S. im Verborgenen und hielt sich 1936 längere Zeit in Italien auf. Nach mühsamem Neubeginn in der Nachkriegszeit entwickelte S. sich zu einem umtriebigen Kunstfunktionär mit weltweiten Beziehungen. 1957 wurde ihm das Bundesverdienstkreuz, 1960 der Edwin-Scharff-Preis verliehen. S. entwickelte eine individuelle Variante des Stils der Hamburgischen Sezession, dem er auch nach dem Krieg treu blieb. Mus.: Hamburg (Kunsthalle), Hannover, Kiel, Bonn u.a. Lit.: Der Neue Rump.

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
