Two-piece construction gilded and burnished silver tombac, obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a gilt diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, two rivets on the reverse, vertical needle-style pinback with a barrel hinge and a round wire catch, manufacturer stamped “W. DEUMER, LÜDENSCHEID”, ca. 42.84 x 52.9 mm, 38.6 grams. Scratching to reverse of eagle. Case of issue, constructed of a heavy card stock frame with faux black leather exterior, lid embossed with two-line gilt “Fallschirmschützen Abzeichen”, interior with a padded blue satin lid liner and intact hinge cover, slotted blue velvet medal base, functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, ca. 78 x 80 x 26 mm. Minor age.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
