Orange diamonds without any additional modifying color are extremely rare- many exhibit secondary colors such as brown or yellow. Orange diamonds get their color from nitrogen, the same atom that produces the color yellow. However, the difference between orange and yellow diamonds is how the nitrogen atoms are grouped in the diamond crystal lattice. Slight variations in the structure can cause the diamond to absorb blue and yellow light while selectively transmit orange.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
