Rechteckiges, lederbezogenes Kästchen aus Obstbaumholz auf vier Kugelfüßen (einer ergänzt). Vollflächiger, sehr fein geprägter Akanthus- und Eichenblattdekor. Auf dem Deckel mit abgeschnittenen Ecken mittig eine Unterglasminiatur nach Claude Joseph Vernet. Vorderseitig mit Lilien verzierte Schlüssellocheinfassung. Im Inneren seidengefüttert, das Originalspiegelglas umrahmt von einer Samtborte. Der Schlüssel liegt bei. An einer Deckelecke Feuchtigkeitsschaden, der untere Teil des Kastens etwas wurmstichig. Stellenweise leicht berieben. Maße 7,5 x 19 x 11 cm.
